Early Life

Champak Kalita is the son of Late Upen Kalita. He is 49 years of age and resides in Kathitali village in the Nagaon district of Assam. He is married to Sangita Kalita. 

Education

He is Class 12 (Higher Secondary) pass from B. Barooah College, Guwahati in the year 1989. 

Career and Politics

Champak Kalita is the General Secretary and the spokesperson of All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF). 

He will be fighting the 2021 Assam Assembly election from the Barkhetry constituency on an AIUDF ticket.

According to the nomination filed with the Election Commission of India, his and his spouse's moveable assets are worth Rs. 2,84,226 and Rs. 22.58 lakhs respectively and their immovable assets are worth Rs. 1.02 crores and Rs. 15 lakhs respectively.
