Hemanta Kumar Sut is a resident of Balaibil village, Changsari in Kamrup district of Assam. He is the son of Kanak Chandra Sut. Hemanta is 51 years old.

Education:

Hemanta completed LL.B from University Law College, Under Gauhati University in 2000.

Career and Politics

He is an Advocate. He is contesting the 2021 Assam Assembly Election from Jalukbari constituency as an Independent Candidate. He is contesting against senior BJP leader and Assam Finance, Health, Education and PWD Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
