Rajendra Mushahary is a resident of Habrubil Village, Kokrajhar District of Assam. He is the son of Late Jagat Mushahary. Rajendra Mushahary is 62 years old.
He is Higher Secondary (Class 12) pass from Hatidhura College in 1994.
Rajendra Mushahary was elected to the Assam Legislative Assembly in 1996 from Gossaigaon constituency on an AGP ticket and he became the Minister of State for Welfare of Plains Tribes and Backward Classes in the Prafulla Mahanta Government. He is contesting the Assam Assembly elections 2021 as a National Road Map Party of India candidate from the Kokrajhar West constituency.
According to the nomination filed with the Election Commission of India, his total movable assets are worth Rs. 4 lakhs and his spouse's movable assets are worth Rs. 1 lakh. His immovable assets are worth Rs 80 lakhs.
In 2001, Mushahary was sent to jail on charges of having raped a minor and having fathered her child. But later in 2002, Mushahary married the girl.
