Early Life:

Sahidur Rahman is a resident of Pokalagi village, Golakganj, Dhubri district of Assam. He is the son of Siraj Ali Sarkar. Sahidur is 44 years old.

Sahidur completed MA in Political Science from Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj University, Kanpur (U.P) in 2002.

He is contesting the 2021 Assam Assembly Election from Golakganj constituency on an All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) ticket.
