Early Life:
Sankar Chandra Das is the son of Late Ananda Ram Das. He is 73 years old, resident of Ward No.4, Sorbhog Town in Barpeta district.
Education:
He is an MA from Gauhati University in the year 1971 & M.Phill
from Gauhati University in the year 1990.
Career and Political Life:
Sankar Das is a retired college teacher. He is going to contest as a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from Sorbhog in the Assam Assembly Election 2021. He has replaced Assam BJP President Ranjeet Kumar Dass in the Sorbhog constituency. Dass had won the Sorbhog seat in the 2016 Assam Assembly elections. This time, Dass is contesting from the Patacharkuchi constituency.
