Yaswanta Chauhan is the son of Padum Bahadur Chauhan. He is 40 years old, resident of Kumbhijhar, Nagrijuli from the Baksa district. He is married to Sangita Chauhan.

He is a Class 12 (Higher Secondary) pass from Gauhati Commerce College in the year 1996.

Career and Political Life:

He is contesting the Assam Assembly elections 2021 as an Independent candidate from Tamulpur Constituency.
