Bokajan is a town in Karbi Anglong district in the state of Assam, India. Bokajan is best known for its Cement factory (Cement Corporation of India, Bokajan). It is 15 km away from Dimapur and partially borders Nagaland. Bokajan is located at 26.02°N 93.78°E. It has an average elevation of 138 metres (452 feet).
Bokajan (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is one of the 126 constituencies of the Assam Legislative Assembly in India. Bokajan forms a part of the Autonomous District Lok Sabha constituency. It is situated in Karbi Anglong district and is one of the 5 assembly segments of Autonomous District (ST) Parliament Seat. This seat is reserved for the Scheduled Tribes (ST).

Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Numal Momin won and became MLA from this seat and managed to secured a total of 40170 votes. Indian National Congress candidate Klengdoon Engti stood second with total 35426 votes. He lost by 4744 votes.
The Bokajan constituency is expected to go to polls in April or May 2021, as part of the 2021 Assam Assembly election. The Assam Assembly polls will be held to elect a total of 126 Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs).

Dr. Momin recently inaugurated and laid foundation stone of 4 roads under RIDF, SOPD & ASSAM DORSHAN various places under Bokajan LAC today which accounts to a total cost of 10.17cr.
Another project in which he inaugurated 5 roads one boundary wall under Assam Dorshan and SOPD today under Bokajan LAC. Together 5.23 crore project has been dedicated for the people of Bokajan. Also, laid foundation stone of Karbi Hemptoon at Japarajan under chief minister untied fund year 2020_21. Rs 30L sanctioned for the construction.
Dr. Numal Momin updated about a project of total 151.19 crore project under Bokajan LAC. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee RURBAN total 150 crore phase manner will complete the work, presently 15 crore projects have been used for the plan planning's are made phase wise for the project will be completed.
Recently, Honourable Health and Education Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma launched 127 crore on various project in Bokajan. Honourable CEM KAAC Tuliram Ronghang, MP, EMs, MACs & party leaders were also present at the meeting.
