KATLICHERA is a town in the district of Hailakandi of the Indian State of Assam which is located at 28 km towards South from the headquarters. A Tehsil head quarter situated in the border of the Hailakandi District and Karimganj District. The pin code of the place is 788165 and the postal head office is Manipur Bagan.

Suzamuddin Laskar of All India United Democratic Front party won the Vidhan Sabha Election in 2016 with the maximum number of votes and the runner up was Gautam Roy of the INC party.
