Palasbari Assembly Constituency falls under Gauhati Parliamentary Constituency. A candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party, named Queen Oja won the Lok Sabha Election 2019 by securing 1008936 votes and defeated, Bobbeeta Sarma of the Indian National Congress party who secured 663330 votes.
