UDALGURI: MP of 8 No Mangaldoi constituency Dilip Kumar Saikia visited Udalguri and distributed essential goods to the differently abled persons and others. He also distributed hand sanitizers and masks to the local mediapersons and highly acclaimed their service to the society. "This is a very crucial time and we need to be very careful," he said.
The MP vehemently criticized the so called embezzlement of government assistance meant for the poor people. "Those who were involved in such embezzlement they will not be spared. The government has ordered an inquiry into the matter," he stated. He said that the BJP, AGP and BPF alliance will remain in State and national level but in local council and panchayats they will fight separately. He appealed the people of Udalguri to be more careful and take protective measures against COVID-19. He thanked the mediapersons, health workers, police personnel and others for their tremendous help to keep the situation normal in the region. He was accompanied by BJP state executive members Madhuram Deka, Diganta, Udalguri district BJP president Kartick Chandra Boro and former Rajya Sabha MP Santiuse Kuzur.
