Nurses 'assaulted' in front of oil depot at Biswanath Chariali

BISWANATH CHARIALI: Three nurses, who were on their way to a rented house from a private clinic, were allegedly assaulted in front of an oil depot at Dagaon, Biswanath Chariali. However, the nurses managed to escape unhurt.

One accused, Dhorbindor Sharma (mechanic of a garage just next to the petrol pump) was later arrested with the help of the medical staff. Afterwards, the police arrested three more oil depot employees. The arrested persons were identified as Rahul Kumar, Ashok Kumar and Gaurav Kumar. All the accused persons hail from Muzaffarpur, Bihar. A case was registered with Biswanath Chariali Police Station bearing no 119/2020, u/s 341/342/354/354-A / 34 of IPC and the accused were sent to jail.
