China Releases Arunachal Youth after 19 days from his abduction

A 21-year-old Arunachal Pradesh youth, who was abducted by China 19 days ago, has been, reportedly, released by the neighbouring country on April 7. Togley Singkam was abducted by China’s People’s Army from a place near the McMohan Line on March 19. The incident happened at the Upper Subansiri district. On that day Togley , along with his two friends went to the place to collect herbs. However, his two friends Chadar and Ronya Nade could escape from the China army’s hand. The incident has created a massive sensation across the state. On the other hand, as soon as the incident came into light the Indian Army tried to recover the youth from the neighbouring country’s army’s captivity. At last, the neighbouring country’s army released him due to the efforts made by the Indian Army. Confirming the development, official sources informed that the Indian Army facilitated the safe return of the youth.
