Excise Raid at Chakoli Mising Gaon, 1000 liters of illicit liquor seized

Sarupathar: The Excise Department of Sarupathar and the team of Barpathar police have jointly conducted the raid at Chakoli Mising gaon and seized about 1000 litters of fermented and illicit liquor from the raid spot under Dhansiri Subdivision in Golaghat district.

Meanwhile, a case has been registered and two accused lady was sent to the district jail of Golaghat as per the order of Subdivisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) of Dhansiri Subdivision.

According to the report, all the illegal 1000 liters of illicit and fermented liquor, seized gur and other raw materials that go into the preparation of illicit liquor were destroyed on the spot.
