Gang of seven attacked two with dagger in Guwahati’s Six Mile

Guwahati: Sensation sparked in Six Mile area in Guwahati after a gang of seven youth attacked another two with a dagger on Friday night.

As per reports, two youth coming from Ganeshguri area attempted to overtake another two cars near Six-mile area in Guwahati.

The duo sitting inside the car later started to beep their car horn when confronted by the gang of seven people in the middle of the road leading to a major scuffle between both the parties.

Meanwhile, the city police had arrested five persons in connection to the incident.

The five youths identified as Rishiraj Chetia, Deepak Singh, Abhishek Nayak, Bison Mukherjee, Rahul Decruz.

It has also come to light that all the accused were working at a private travelling agency namely Oraval Travel Private Limited.

It may be mentioned that Bison Mukherjee hails from Kolkata.

Moreover, the injured youth Krishna Sarma and Muhibul Islam were immediately rushed to Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (MMCH) in Pan Bazaar in Guwahati for further medication.

A case has been registered at Dispur Police Station in connection to the incident.
