Gauhati High Court dismisses Assam Govt review petition on resuming Mobile Internet Services

Guwahati: The Gauhati High Court dismisses Assam Government’s review petition on its order to resume Mobile Internet Services in Assam on Friday.

It may also be mentioned that there was a report surfacing in the media that Internet services were likely to be suspended in Assam again.

The State Government had earlier approached the Gauhati High Court in this regard.

The decision of suspending the mobile internet services was taken by the government fearing instability in the state.
