Married Man arrested for allegedly killing Girlfriend after impregnating her in Biswanath

Biswanath: In a strange twist to the recovery of the half-naked body of a girl at No. 2 Mijika near a Kalapani bridge under Jinjia police station in Biswanath, police on Saturday claimed that it might be a case of murder.

As per police reports, the deceased girl had an illicit love affair with a married man from Biswanath’s Borpura area identified as Deolal alias Ranjit Satnami.

As per eyewitnesses, few villagers also spotted the girl and Deolal together last Thursday. Later, her body was recovered near Kalapani Bridge.

Notably, under the supervision of Biswanath Superintendent of Police, Rakesh Roushan, Police apprehended accused Deolal from his relative’s residence in Helem. Upon interrogating accused Deolal confessed to the crime before police.

It has also come to light that the girl was allegedly impregnated by the accused Deolal.

It is to be mentioned that the half-naked body of the girl was recovered under mysterious.

Earlier the identity of the deceased girl has not been ascertained by the police officials.

On the other hand, local people in the area claimed it to be a case of rape and the body was sent for post mortem by Biswanath police accordingly.
