Nagaon Police hunt down poacher at Kaziranga National Park, Arms Seized

Guwahati: Today at around 2.30 am on the basis of a secret information regarding poaching activities at Kaziranga National Park an operation was launched by Nagaon Police in the area of Harmoti under Jakhalabandha Police Station and recovered following weapons and ammunition from the possession of one identified as Pradip Mura, S/O Lt Butuk Mura, Village –Harmoti, PS -Jakhalabandha.

Recovered weapons and ammunitions –

It is pertinent to be mentioned that Pradip Mura possessed the weapons to carry out poaching in the Kaziranga National Park.

The operation was carried out under the leadership of John Das, APS DySP DSB Nagaon, accompanied by CI (W) Batadrava Insp. Someswar Konwar and SI(UB) Nipu Kalita, O/C Jakhalabandha PS and staff.
