One more tests positive for COVID-19 in Assam; total cases stands 42

Karimganj: Assam COVID-19 positive cases have, on Thursday soared to 42 as one more person has been confirmed as infected by the deadly virus. Revealing this Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “One person from Karimganj, secondary contact of a Nizamuddin attendee, has tested positive for COVID-19. Total COVID patients in Assam stands at 42. 29 are discharged, 1 death, so active hospital cases 12.”
