Singer Rupam Bhuyan’s wife passes away after giving birth to a baby boy

Guwahati: Prominent singer and frontman of the Indian fusion band North East Breeze Rupam Bhuyan’s wife, Manashree Baruah passed away after giving birth to a baby boy in Guwahati.

The incident came to light at around 12 am in the midnight hours on Thursday.

Manashree Baruah was admitted to Maruwari Maternity Hospital in Guwahati.

As per reports, the health condition of Manashree Baruah remained critical after the delivery of the baby boy; accordingly, she was shifted to ICU ward but was declared dead by the doctors after a few minutes.

Her final rites were performed at Bhootnath Mandir in Guwahati at around 3 pm today.
