Suspected cadre of Muslim Fundamental Organization arrested in Kokrajhar, Arms Seized

Guwahati: Based on a specific input received on Saturday at around 3 am, a joint operation was launched by Kokrajhar Police, 166Bn TA and 25^th Rajput Regiment in the village Debottar Khopati part- II under Kazigaon PS under Kokrajhar and arrested one suspected cadre of Muslim Fundamental Organization.

The arrested person was identified as Abdul Khaleqe Mandal (22) son of Moullah Baks of Vill-Debottor Khopati Part -II under Kazigaon PS Kokrajhar BTAD, Assam.

During the search operation by the security forces at the residence of Abdul Khaleqe Mandal recovered one 7.65 pistol 5 round live ammunition and one magazine from his possession in the presence of available witnesses and accordingly arrested the accused person.

In this connection to the incident, a case has been registered to vide Kazigaon PS case no 01/2020 Under section 25 (1-A) Arms Act and investigated into.
