BJP candidate Topon Kumar Gogoi wins Jorhat Lok Sabha seat over its Congress rival Sushanta Borgohain

Jorhat: BJP candidate Topon Kumar Gogoi with 535237 votes by far, has made sure that the Jorhat Lok Sabha seat comes under his capture. On the other hand, Congress candidate Sushanta Borgohaoin could secure 452762 votes. With this, the BJP candidate wins by a margin of around 82,000 votes.
