Delhi: The Union Government has extended the ongoing nationwide lockdown till May 17, 2020. The Home Ministry has served a notice in the regard, on Friday evening that states that the lockdown has been extended by two weeks with effect from May 4 in view of the worsening of the novel coronavirus situation in some states of the country. However, relaxation will be given in Green Zone and Orange Zone areas/ districts, stated a Central Government release. The ongoing second phase of the lockdown ends on May 3, 2020.
