Mumbai: Shooting of Kwatha begins in Manipur;
Kwatha, is a Hindi movie based on real life story, focuses on the relationship between an army officer and a village in Manipur, a region that lies on the border of India and Myanmar.
Movie critic Taran Adarsh tweeted, "Filming begins... #Kwatha stars #AayushSharma and #IsabelleKaif [sister of #KatrinaKaif]... Directed by Karan Lalit Butani... Produced by Sunil Jain, Omprakash Bhat, Aditya Joshi, Alok Thakur and Sujay Shankarwar... 2020 release."
The role of the army officer will be essayed by Aayush Sharma. Sharma had informed that he was training very hard for the role.
"I look like an army guy now. I am trying my level best to prepare for the role. Right now, I am training with the Army and I am trying to understand their body language. I think in 20 to 25 days - which is around the end of October - we will go on floors," Aayush had earlier informed the media during Vogue Beauty Awards 2019 ceremony in Mumbai.
The actor had made his debut in the movie 'Loveratri'.
The film will also see Isabelle Kaif, sister of Katrina Kaif, making her Bollywood debut.
Karan Lalit Butani will be directing the film.
Kwatha, an action film is all set to hit screens in 2020.
