Guwahati: It's good news for the cinema lovers from Assam, as Zubeen Garg starrer 'Kanchanjangha' has broken the record of Bahubali 2, thus becoming the highest-grossing film in Northeastern India till date.

Expressing her satisfaction, Producer of the movie Garima Saikia Garg wrote on her Facebook post on Monday saying, "It gives me immense pleasure to declare that 'Kanchanjangha' has broken the record of Bahubali 2 and has become the highest grosser of Northeastern India till date".

She also thanked all the Assamese audience for the love and support in abundance and for all the constructive feedback and reviews.

She further urged the audiences to shower their love and blessings in the future.
