NEW DELHI: Reliance Jio is providing a special offer of free calls and data services for two consecutive days.
The free service of Jio came after the inconvenience faced by users due to the Jio network issue and because of the downtime in services in certain locations across India.
Just a few days ago a lot of users mainly from Madhya Pradesh, Mumbai and Chhattisgarh have complained about receiving a notification on every call that reads 'not registered on network.'
All those customers who got affected by the network error last week will get the special benefit to enjoy two days of free call and data services.
Jio took the initiative to make up the problem that people had to face in connecting with others through phone calls because of the Jio network.
Reliance Jio will be extending the validity of the existing prepaid plan and will automatically add a credit of 2 days to the postpaid bill of the users that were impacted last week.
In a message to the affected customers the company has informed that as a goodwill gesture it is extending a 2-day rental credit that will automatically get applied in the Jio number of the customers. It has been further added that this complimentary rental credit will be reflected in the upcoming bill of the user.
A lot of users in social media account of Twitter started complaining about Jio's services and slammed the company for the problem they had to face. Netizens also compared the Jio services with the services of Airtel and Vodafone as others were working well.
It was in recent news that the company reliance Jio has finalized its pilot testing of 5G services with an uploading speed of 412Mbps and downloading speed of 420Mbps which is eight times faster than the existing 4G services.
The auction for Jio 5G is expected to take place in the current year as announced by the government and the rollout might start between 2022 and 2023.
