SBI CGM of NE Circle Inaugurates Customer Outreach Initiative

GUWAHATI: Twenty three banks and two NBFCs participated in the Customer Outreach Initiative (COI) which started here on Thursday. The event also saw the participation of NABARD.

Sunil Kumar Tandon, Chief General Manager, NE Circle (SBI) inaugurated the initiative. In his inaugural speech, Tandon expressed the need for such initiatives where banking requirements are provided under one roof by all the banks. The response of the public was also positive with around 950 customers visiting their respective bank stalls. In Principle Sanction letters were also distributed by all banks. Success stories of existing borrowers of PMEGP, Stand UP India, Mudra were shared.

The initiative also started in 8 other centres across the Northeast.
