Hailakandi Deputy Commissioner Keerthi Jalli made compulsory of wearing mask

Hailakandi: As precautionary measures to prevent further spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the district administration has made mandatory wearing of mask or face cover in public places with immediate effect. An order issued to this effect on Thursday by Deputy Commissioner, Keerthi Jalli, also strictly prohibits the sale of all kinds of liquor, gutka and tobacco products in the district.

Spitting in public places is strictly forbidden and shall be punishable with fine. Any violation of the order will result in prosecution under the provisions of the Disaster Management Act, 2005.
