Janiganj Kali Puja Committee and Apostles' Club bag 1st prize: Silchar

Silchar: Kali Pujas of Janiganj Puja Committee and Apostles' Club of Malugram this year were excellent and outstanding. Much deservingly, business association coordination committee declared their Kali Puja prizes winners on Saturday night. Apostles' Club of Malugram and Janiganj Kali Puja Committee jointly bagged the first prize in this year's competition.

Six Kali Puja committees bagged the second prize. These six Kali Puja committees include Cachar High School Road Puja Committee of Malugram, Spirit Union of Janiganj, Ishaan Dutt Club of Kanakpur, Shyamananda Lane, Kallol Sangha Kali Puja Committee of Sonai road and Ghunghoor Kalibari. The third prize was bagged by Tarashankar Mandir of Ramakrishna Mission Road, Sri Durga Sarani Kalibari, Silchar Vyaam Vidyalaya, New Market Business Organization and Tarapur Motor Stand. Apostles' Club of Malugram added another feather to its cap by bagging a special category prize 'Swachh Bharat'.
