Relief measures extended to fire victims of Silchar

Silchar: The Cachar District Administration is extending relief measures to the victims of fire in which at least four shops and two houses were completely gutted on Tuesday night in Malugram area of Silchar. Following the orders of the Deputy Commissioner circle officer Silchar Dhrubajyoti Pathak along with Patowary Tapash Nath and a team from the DDIPR office rushed to the spot to take stock of the damage caused by the fire. Officials from the District Disaster Management Authority also went to asses the condition. During the interaction with the victims, Meena Deb and Nanda Rani Deb who had lost their houses and belongings narrated the situation.
