Silchar celebrates JeM terror camp elimination

SILCHAR: It was a sort of Diwali here on Tuesday night as entire Barak Valley celebrated the air strikes conducted by the Indian Air Force (IAF) in the wee hours of Tuesday destructing the largest training camp of the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) in Balakot. Along with the whole nation, people of Silchar town took to the streets, lit diyas and candles, burst crackers and hailed both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian Air Force for giving a befitting reply to the inhuman February 14 Pulwama attack which took numerous lives of Indian soldiers. Kamal Jyoti Sankalp Abhiyan was marked by the presence of BJP leaders lighting lamps simultaneously across the valley of Barak. Residents of Silchar celebrated the elimination of JeM terror camps in Balakot with great pomp and show.
