Allegations made regarding non-transparency in Assam Public Service Commission (APSC)

GUWAHATI: Several questions have been raised by ‘Fight against Injustice of APSC’ regarding the lack of transparency on the part of the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) while conducting examinations. A statement made by Manas Pratim Barua, administrator of ‘Fight against Injustice of APSC’ mentioned that it is rather unlucky that the students who appeared for the examination have to knock on the doors of the court yet again. Writ petitions 2384/23, 2389/23, and 2393/23 have already been registered against the CCE examinations conducted in 2022.

The organization has not uploaded the final corrected answer key for the examination as well as copies of the OMR sheets of the examinees as per the RTI filed by them. The failure to do the needful even when just two months remain for the final rounds of the examination has left the participants in distrust, and they demanded the immediate release of the OMR sheets and the answer key for the examination.
