GUWAHATI: Additional Director General of Police (Law & Order) GP Singh on Sunday stated that 18 Shramik Special Trains have arrived in Assam till May 22. Singh said that the trains have facilitated a total of 1,15,920 people to arrive in Assam from other parts of the country. He added that 17,895 people have left Assam for their home States. Singh said domestic flights will resume operations from May 25. "The greatest help that people can extend to society is by staying at home mandatorily while undergoing home quarantine. Violation of institutional/home quarantine would invite penal action under IPC, DM Act, and Epidemic Diseases Act," said Singh.
