13th Rasheswar Saikia Barbayan Sattriya Award ceremony held in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Observing all COVID-19 protocols, the Sangeet Sattra presented the 13th Rasheswar Saikia Barbayan Sattriya award virtually to Dr Dilip Ranjan Barthakur, Gobinda Saikia, and Nani Baruah at a function held in the Sangeet Sattra Auditorium on Thursday.

The award presentation ceremony and cultural performances were telecast live through the Facebook page of the Sangeet Sattra. It will be also telecast through Youtube at 6 pm on July 9. Among the dignitaries present on the occasion were Pamdmashree awardee Ghanakanta Bora and retired IAS officer Swapnanil Barua was present, stated a press release.
