GUWAHATI: In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, Nature First Foundation, a private welfare agency aimed at conservation of forests, preservation of wildlife and creating awareness on environmental issues recently donated around 1,500 masks to the forest guards of Kaziranga National Park. The masks were handed over by Director of NFF Srimati Mridula Borooah and received by Selim Ahmed, Range Officer of the Central Range on behalf of the forest department. Along with the masks some hand sanitizers were also given. The guards that were present on the occasion expressed their gratitude against the gesture and praised the NFF, stated a release.
