19 journalists donate plasma in GMCH auditorium

GUWAHATI: Under the aegis of Guwahati Press Club and with cooperation from the NHM, as many as 19 journalists donated their blood plasma at a camp in the GMCH (Gauhati Medical College and Hospital) auditorium on Monday.

Present at the function was State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The Minister said, "This is a historic day. It's first to see journalists donating plasma in unison. Journalists of the State have been engaged in the fight against COVID right from the very beginning without any compromise. I hope journalists from other areas of the State will also come forward to donate plasma. Journalists donating plasma will help people get relief from corona panic."
