1st Battalion NDRF celebrated birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi

The unit conducted a Unity Run at Patgaon, Company locations i.e Mirza, Changsari and Regional Response Centre, Agartala, Tripura. All NDRF rescuers participated and completed the 10 km-run as part of the event. A tree-plantation campaign was carried at Battalion Headquarter, Patgaon in which 200 saplings of different varieties were planted.

A massive cleanliness drive was also organised at Internal State Bus Terminal Guwahati and subsequently at Patgaon and all Company location i.e. Mirza, pre-positioned team locations i.e. Barpeta, Bongaigaon, Jorhat, Cachar, IWT Uzan Bazar Ghat in the bank of river Brahmaputra in Guwahati, Unakoti, Tripura and Regional Response Centre Aizawl (Mizoram)
