3 Arrested for Violation of Lockdown rules in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Three persons have been arrested and a case has been registered for violation of lockdown rules in Guwahati on Sunday. An amount of Rs 2,000 was charged from people for not wearing masks. Since June 30, as many as 165 people have been arrested and 51 cases registered for violation of lockdown rules in the city. Rs 1.30 lakh has also been charged as fines for not wearing masks during the period.
