GUWAHATI: Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel on Sunday arrested three thieves from the Kamakhya Railway Station, who had been stealing money and other belongings from train passengers recently.
RPF sources identified the arrested thieves as Raju Paswan (28) of Bishanpur Bochaha in Muzaffarpur, Bihar; Ranjit Paswan (26) of Dayanagar Belsand in Sitamarhi, Bihar; and Navin Kumar (18) of Lohadi Belsand in Sitamarhi, Bihar.
The RPF recovered four mobile handsets, five SIM cards, Rs 6,000 in cash, one ATM card and three wallets from the thieves' possession.
The trio has been handed over to the Jalukbari police for further legal action.
