3D holographic show to mark Vijaya Dashami at Nehru Stadium on October 5

GUWAHATI: The stage is all set for a grand Vijaya Dashami ceremony on October 5 at the Nehru Stadium here, with the 111-foot tall effigy of Raavan along with Kumbakaran and Meghnaad, already prepared for torching on that day.

PRO of the event, Aneel Goenka informed the media that the mega 3-D holographic show, which will be creating a 3-D live image of Lord Rama, will be the first of its kind in the State and perhaps in the entire North-East region. Goenka also informed that a grand fireworks show is going to be an added attraction as a team of Shivakashi has already arrived in the city for necessary arrangements.

Goenka said that Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will be inaugurating the event and will shoot an arrow towards Raavan's effigy through the holographic image of Ram. He also said that the Xatradhikar of Sri Sri Borkhatpar Xatra, Leela Mahanta will also be reach the city soon to bless the programme, which falls this year on the day of Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardev's birth anniversary.
