6th witness deposes in defamation case against Rahul Gandhi

GUWAHATI: The sixth witnessed deposed before the CJM's court, Kamrup (M) on Wednesday in a defamation case filed against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in 2016.

The case was filed by RSS leader Anjan Bora in connection with a allegation levelled by Gandhi to the effect that RSS workers had prevented him from visiting the Barpeta Xatra during a visit to Assam on December 12, 2015.

Gandhi himself has already appeared in the court.

Hearing of the case will resume on September 12.
