A Businessman From Lalmati Received Extortion Call

GUWAHATI: A businessman Bhabananda Mazumder, Lalmati, received a call on Tuesday with a demand of Rs 2 crore. The caller claimed to be a member of ULFA. Mazumder lodged an FIR (671/19 U/S 384 IPC) at Basistha police station. The investigation is being made into the matter.
