AACSU announced Film on the life of birangana Sati Sadhani

GUWAHATI: Sati Sadhani, a movie on the life of birangana Sati Sadhani has been announced by the All Assam Chutia Students' Union (AACSU).

The film will showcase the life of Sati Sadhani, the last queen of the Chutia dynasty and history of the community.

It will be made under the aegis of the AACSU.

Addressing a press meet, the AACSU members stated that the film will be directed by noted director Biswajit Bora and will be released in both Assamese and Hindi language with English subtitles.

The Mahurat of the movie will be on February 8, 2021. Sati Sadhani will be the first 3D movie of the State and will include several actors from outside the State. The role of Sati Sadhani will be played by a South Korean actress.

"The movie will be action packed and will include three wars. The commercial aspects of the film will also be looked after," the AACSU stated. The film will hit the theatres in 2022.
