AASU chief adviser Samujjal Bhattacharya, president Dipanka Kumar Nath, General secretary Lurinjyoti Gogoi and many citizens including students light lamp in order to pay tribute to the victims in Latashil field. After the programme the AASU chief adviser, general secretary and president demanded a particular time limit to be set for when the victim’s family can finally receive justice. The AASU officials said in anguish that only giving assurances and promises will not solve the misery of the victims, as no actions have been taken to punish the culprits. So now, it is time that the government focuses on results and announces date for when the culprits are finally punished and justice delivered.
