AASU presented Pratima Barua Pandey award to folk artiste Eklayva Gam

GUWAHATI: The All Assam Students' Union (AASU) on Tuesday presented the prestigious Pratima Barua Pandey Memorial Award, 2022 to dedicated folk artiste Eklavya Gam at a programme at the Chandmari Swahid Udyan on the death anniversary of the famed exponent of Goalpariya folksongs.

Eklavya Gham hails from the Dhemaji district.

The award carries a xorai, a gamosa, an eri jacket and Rs 25,000 in cash.
