GUWAHATI: After the formation of AGP’s student’s wing, the first meeting of Asom Chatra Parishad was held on Wednesday. AGP leader Manoj Saikia said, “This is the first meeting of Asom Chatra Parishad after its formation. Today they have discussed about its future planning, as to how the Parishad will proceed in the days ahead, and what will be their steps. As Asom Gana Parishad is a regional political party so discussions has been held for the development of students.” AGP president Trinayan Baruah said, “We have received positive response from students across the State. At first, we need to strengthen the base of our organization. Now our prime focus is to take initiative, so that we can take Assam into a world platform and how to resolve the issues of the students.”
