All Assam Students' Union, 30 bodies to staged human chain in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: At the call of the All Assam Students' Union (AASU) and 30 other organizations, a human chain will be staged in Guwahati on October 12, 2020 demanding the cancellation of the CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act), the EIA, 2020, implementation of the high-level committees recommendations on Clause 6 of the Assam Accord and rehabilitation and relief to the people affected by Baghjan oil well fire.

A meeting of the All Kamrup (M) District Students' Union was to this effect at Swahid Nyas here on Saturday. The human chain will be staged at Gauhati Club at 10 am on Monday.
