All Assam Students Union & AJYCP advisory committee submits report

GUWAHATI: The advisory committee formed by the AASU (All Assam Students' Union) and the AJYCP (Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuva-Chatra Parishad) submitted their report to both the aforementioned bodies.

The 16-member body – 'Assam Advisory Committee' was formed on August 19 for the safety and security of the indigenous people of the State. This committee submitted a 45-page report on the educational, social, economic and political issues for the AASU and the AJYCP to move ahead.

The report was submitted by members of the advisory committee - former GU professor Dr. Krishna Gopal Bhattacharya and former Associate Professor of Handique Girls' College Basanta Deka.

AASU general secretary Lurinjyoti Gogoi said, "The advisory committee submitted the report today. The AASU and AJYCP will discuss the report and decide the further plan of actions for both the organizations.
