GUWAHATI: Anand Kumar appeared before the Gauhati High Court and sought apology. Further, he deposited Rs 50,000 cost as directed to the guardians and students, who claimed that Kumar cheated them in the name of Super 30. Amit Goyal, appearing for the petitioners told that the Division Bench of Gauhati High Court took note of the averments made in PIL, affidavit filed by Abhayanand, IPS Ex-DGP, Bihar, affidavits filed by other students who claimed that they have been cheated by Kumar in the name of Super 30 and affidavit filed by Anand Kumar and felt that it would be appropriate if the petitioners approached the court, who has jurisdiction over Patna. Accordingly, liberty is granted to the petitioners to approach the court who has jurisdiction over Patna and accordingly, PIL is closed as withdrawn.
