App 'Drugs Free Assam' launched by the State CID gets response

GUWAHATI: The App 'Drugs Free Assam', launched by the State CID, yielded a response with the registration of five cases leading to the arrest of ten peddlers and the seizure of drugs worth Rs 11 lakh within a few days.

A senior CID officer said, "We got a positive response through this App. People are conscious now, and they lodge complaints. We assure people that we will conduct an investigation promptly so make Assam free from drugs."
