Army vehicle runs over student near Maligaon Gate No. 3 bus stop

GUWAHATI: An accident that took place on Tuesday morning led to the death of a school student. A vehicle belonging to the Indian Army ran over her as she was trying to cross the road to reach her school.

The deceased was identified Labayna Paul, a student of the Maligaon Railway Higher Secondary School and the accident took place when she was trying to cross the road near the Maligaon Gate No. 3 bus stop to go to her school. Local people stopped the army vehicle and demanded appropriate action against the driver of the vehicle.
